A great person who has been forgotten

okie here i am talking about this person
do you remember him?

yeah physically a shorter man,but morally and metally he was much
taller than many.He was none other than Sri Lal Bhadur Sastry.

what i am trying to say is the whole indian freedom struggle was carried
by bunch of great ppl like Madan mohan malaviya, Tilak,Nehru, Gandhi,
Bhagat singh,Subhash chandra bose,Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel,
Moulana Abul Kalam Azad, Rajendra Prasad, Rajagopala chary, Bharathiyaar, And Lal Bahadur Sastry etc etc none to be forgotten.

anyway am remembering and honouring great personalites and praying
for more sharstries to be awaken & born to save & raise India.

BTW,Indian Govt released 3 postal stamps on sri sastry.

Stamp Issue Date : 26/01/1966
Postage Stamp Dinomination : 0.15

Mourning Issue. Issued in 1966

'Jai Kisan'. Issued in 1967 on First Death Anniversary.

Anveshi,
What you say is realy true...
I am not sure if you heard this. I got this mail.
People who have joined Lalbahadur Shastrs' call to fast one day to save food grains have a proud moment to break the fast recently...
Indian govt donated about $50million to US for aid when during the 65 war US denied food aid to India, supporting Pakistan...

And btw, your poem was good as usual.

Yes u r 100% correct. It is really pathotic to see our leaders who talk of Gandhiji only on Oct.2nd. but never talk about Lal bahadur Sastry, a simple couregeous leader who stood for morality and principles. I know he has resigned as Rly. Minister taking the responsility for Ariyalur train accident. Who else did like that now a days? These so called demoratic leaders crave for power at the cost of party's principle.
I appreciate your concern. -sastri-

Thanks to all for visiting my blog.

@yadhavishya Garu,
yeah you are right, today's politics are very cheap.

@yoga ji
Look beyond 10 years
where US will stand and where India will stand
am lil busy and will join that group today and let u know.:)

@virabhadra sastry garu,
if today's minsiters are to follow sastri's way,
i think entire politicians are to resign from power.
& today's corrupt ministers should not compared with great leaders

Ofourse that is also true.
Can we see the pure democracy in the world in general and in India in paticular.
However. let us remind our present and future genration about the sacrifice made by our noble leaders in acheiving independance and also their ideals for a democratic government
